Trilsch, C.M.T., Hospice Practitioner “In my work as a medical/surgical registered nurse and in my hospice volunteer practice, I often only have one brief encounter with a client. Everflowing has allowed me to give these clients a simple yet effective expression of concern that lets them experience the care that surrounds them.” "I have been a hospice personal care assistant for 7 years. Everflowing classes reminded me of the importance of caring for myself and gave me tools, practices and inspiration to do that. I feel rejuvenated. This involves the student in processing information through the body. Movement, awareness of breath, and a focus on conscious delivery are all part of the Everflowing relationship. There are spaces of silence in my classes to make room for the deepening of awareness to our internal and external environment. Learning to listen to non-verbal messages plays a big role in working with clients in later stages of life. My classes are intimate, my approach is personal and my presentation is spiritual in essence.” Irene Smith ________________________ Teaching Methods Lecture; visuals; group sharing; group movement; silence; demonstrations; hands on practice; supervised clinical practice and written reporting.
