Everflowing Philosophy

Everflowing teachings are based on the philosophy that comfort and relaxation may be elicited through certain rhythms and tones. Recognizing that we as human beings are a composite of rhythms, Everflowing integrates tactile support with the practitioner’s, breath, voice and body movement.

Everflowing tactile support is delivered with respect to the physical, emotional and energetic boundaries of both persons in the Everflowing relationship; therefore the unfolding of relaxation is encouraged for both persons.

The Everflowing practitioner holds the intention of witnessing, validating and honoring the dying person's experience rather than trying to fix, cure, change or correct any specific symptom or condition. This subtle intention is the first step in creating a healing environment.

This environment also creates trust which assists the dying person in feeling safe while experiencing physical and/or emotional vulnerability. The feelings of trust and safety provide a tone of comfort for the Everflowing practitioner as well as the client.

This practice allows the practitioner to integrate the feelings of helplessness and inadequacy that may be experienced when working with fragile persons.

The comfort and trust that is created allows for a deepening of the benefits that might usually be associated with touch modalities.

Everflowing teachings and tactile support skills may be incorporated into daily nursing care such as bathing, feeding, dressing, turning, etc. These activities are all touch sessions that may be enhanced through the Everflowing philosophy.

Everflowing philosophy may also be incorporated into most bodywork modalities. For additional benefits, Everflowing tactile support skills may be combined with Everflowing massage techniques for creating Everflowing massage sessions.
